Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was clean, warm, and comfortable. The staff was professional and understanding, with the manager promptly addressing our concerns. However, the veranda was very dirty with rusty door fittings. We received an extra night's stay as compensation for the soiled bed sheets we found upon arrival. Overall, great service but some cleanliness issues.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room I stayed in was lovely, quiet, and clean, but it was in an older part of the hotel that felt quite run down. The dated style of furniture and the limited plug sockets made it a bit inconvenient. The service was a bit of a hit and miss - some staff members were fantastic, especially at the rooftop bar, while others seemed disorganized. The location, however, was brilliant, being so close to the town and within walking distance of Eyre Square. The dining experience was a mix of good and average - the homemade brown bread was delicious, but there were moments when the service was slow and the food a little cold. Despite the downsides, the hotel's facilities were generally satisfactory.
The hotel was a good size and very proper, although showing some age. The location was perfect with plenty to do in the area, just off the square and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The dining was really good overall, but gluten-free options were limited. The service was super on both nights, but slightly slow to clear breakfast tables in the morning.
The hotel is wonderfully situated right on Eyre Square, offering a convenient location within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The rooms were a bit warm without air conditioning but overall comfortable for three guests. The service was exceptional, with super friendly and accommodating staff. The dining experience had some hiccups, but the scrambled eggs were very good. The facilities were satisfactory, although some aspects could be improved.
The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, comfortable, and located in a good spot that wasn't too noisy. However, the veranda was dirty, and there could have been more lighting. Overall, the staff were professional and understanding, and the manager promptly addressed our concerns, offering an extra night's stay as compensation.
The hotel is conveniently located, close to Victoria and just off Eyre square, making it very convenient for exploring the lively pub area. The rooms were a bit stuffy due to the high heat, but they were spacious and modern. The service was hit and miss, with delays in room cleaning but overall helpful staff. The dining experience was mixed, with friendly staff but some slow service. Despite some shortcomings, the facilities were well-kept and offered good value for money.
The hotel had a few drawbacks, like dirty curtains and a dated style, but the staff was professional and understanding. The location was excellent, close to Eyre Square, making it convenient for exploring Galway. The dining experience had some issues with burnt food and slow service, but the service was friendly and prompt in dealing with any problems.
I had a great experience at this hotel. The rooms are lovely, and I will definitely book again. The location is perfect, very nice and friendly staff with a nice atmosphere. However, there were some issues with the room, being in the corner between 2 other rooms and showing a cement mixer and rubble in a back yard as a view from the window. Additionally, the room was a bit hot, and I didn't sleep well due to a happy reveller who'd lost his way and was convinced our room was his, at 4 am.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. While the location was ideal and the staff were friendly and welcoming, the room experience left much to be desired due to ongoing renovations and noise disruptions. Dining was a bit of an ordeal, but the facilities were decent.
The hotel's location is fabulous, within walking distance of all amenities, including bus, coach, and train stations. The rooms are very small but clean and comfy, and the service provided was extremely helpful. However, the construction nearby could be a disturbance early in the morning. The dining experience offered local fresh products, and the overall value for money was notable.
